The 'transform' Décor Book, which was produced for the 10th Interprint Furniture Days in the autumn of 2016, found not only great appeal among customers and partners of Interprint. The to-date most comprehensive yearbook by the décor printer has now also received one of the most important design awards, the Red Dot Award 2017 in the 'Communication Design' discipline. A 24-member expert jury selected the best works in a multi-day process. Agencies, designers and companies from a total of 50 countries applied for the Award with their communication and creative works.
The 200-page 'transform' décor and trend book received the Red Dot Award for its high-quality design and its creative content. The Interprint Marketing and Design Team and its partners, lamoto design studio and the wordflow copywriter agency in Cologne, are responsible for the realisation of the book.
The award ceremony will take place in Berlin on 27 October. The 'Design on Stage' exhibition will simultaneously present the 'transform' book together with other award-winning works. The award-winning book will also be shown in the International Yearbook Communication Design 2017/2018 that will be published in November. A real honour because the Yearbook documents the state of the art in global communication design.
The Red Dot Award, one of the largest design competitions worldwide, is deemed to be a quality seal for excellent design. Salvatore Figliuzzi, Director of Marketing & Design at Interprint, emphasised the high importance attached to communications in the marketing of Interprint's own product lines: "We continue our previous years' successful track record in communication design with our award-winning 'transform' trend book."
