The 'Veneto' marble design by Interprint was awarded the 'Diamond of the Furniture Industry 2017' in the 'furniture surfaces' category in Poland. The award ceremony took place during a celebratory gala in Warsaw on 6 December 2016. The award was presented to Sylwia Lasota, Sales and Marketing Manager of Interprint Polska.
The 'Diamond of the Furniture Industry' is one of the most renowned awards of the Polish furniture industry. It is annually conferred as part of a competition organised by the BIZNES meble.pl publishing company. Interprint was able to come out on top against a strong competition in the 11th year of the contest: About 110 companies with a total of 174 products were registered in the different categories. A jury of almost 70 experts chose the winners according to diverse criteria such as uniqueness, design and market presence.
Interprint's 'Veneto' décor, one of six designs of the 'Six Pack 2016', convinced the Polish industry experts with its strong character and diversity: 'Veneto' accentuates not only worktops but also furniture fronts – and harmonises well with almost all home styles. Inspired by the image of Italian marble, the design looks like an aerial view of river arms, mountain ranges and clouds. Grey-and-brown shades in an unobtrusive repeating pattern supplement the lively look.
"We are proud that we were able to convince the jury with 'Veneto'" said Sylwia Lasota, Sales and Marketing Manager of Interprint Polska, who is delighted about the award. "The award confirms the quality and uniqueness of the design – particularly against the backdrop of a fierce competition."
