As the host of "Furniture Days", Interprint Brazil has now welcomed numerous representatives of the furniture and wood products industry for the fourth time. But the mid-March event 2016 was also a première: for the first time, the workshop event, which enjoys growing popularity in the industry, was held at the new production location Curitiba in southeast Brazil. Thirty-six South American companies from Brazil, Columbia, Mexico, Argentina and Chile were represented by 100 visitors. After the motto "on focus", some of them had come a long way to discuss trend themes, décors and colours with the Interprint team. They also visited Interprint Brazil's modern production plant and showroom.
Enjoying the Moment
As with the Furniture Days at the German headquarters in autumn 2016, the event in Curitiba focused on the meta-trend "Time". Being able to experience the 24 condensed hours of a day at various stations, impressed on the visitors the value of a single moment: the Here and Now, following the presentations of the latest Interprint décors and trend stories embedded in the overall production all the more intensely.
The concept of the Furniture Days enjoys such a positive response that Interprint now holds the workshop at various locations worldwide – for example in Poland, Russia, China and the USA besides Brazil.
Nature Meets Innovation
IP trend theme "change of context": modern décors are being emancipated from the original wood-type through experimental colours and structures. The building ensemble of Interprint Curitiba also embodies a similar change: many guests were impressed by how harmoniously the purist modernity of the production plant and offices has been integrated into the natural surroundings at São José dos Pinhais.
Gaining Customers' Trust
"This year's event was the perfect combination of Furniture Days Workshop with an Open Day at our new production location," enthused Lourdes Manzanares, Managing Director Sales & Marketing of Interprint do Brasil. "We regard the positive feedback from our customers as proof of their confidence and that we are on the right track with our design and sales strategy for the South American markets." At all events, many visitors have already decided that they will definitely not be missing the next Interprint Furniture Days in Brazil in spring 2017.
