A great success for "Fendo": the Polish furniture magazine "Meble Plus" has named the unusual Interprint décor "Product of the Year 2016" in the "Materials for finishing surfaces" category. Sylwia Lasota, Head of Sales and Marketing at Interprint Polska, was delighted to accept the prestigious prize – a statuette shaped like a designer chair – on 11 February 2016. The trendy backdrop for this honour was a furniture gala held during the "4 Design Days" in Kattowice.
The "Fendo" décor is part of the SWAP collection, which has been especially designed for CPL and HPL laminates. With its cubic digital look, the award-winning décor is particularly well-suited to modern and functional settings – whether as a work surface in purist kitchens or combined with steel and aluminium as wall cladding.
This was the 14th edition of the "Meble Plus - Product of the Year" awards, which has become one of the most established events in the Polish furniture industry. As well as surface finishes, a jury also awards annual prizes for flamboyant interior design such as furniture, accessories and fabrics. The thirty members of the jury know exactly what is currently on trend: after all, they are all well-known representatives of the furniture trade or industry associations, designers or journalists.
This year, an impressive line-up of 70 products in 16 categories were competing for the sought-after awards, making the victory of the Interprint décor all the more noteworthy.
