„Living in Contrasts“ going East: Interprint Polska at MTKT in Kiev

The dedicated Polish team presented new décors and innovative approaches.

MTKT in Kiev (Ukraine) is the most important international trade fair for furniture, technologies, components and textiles in the CIS nations. This exhibition of various production materials is the focal point for manufacturers and suppliers wishing to present their latest technologies, trends and products to an expert audience. Ukraine itself is one of the key markets. A large number of business partners from Ukraine, Poland, Lithuania, Belarus, Russia and Italy visited MTKT in Kiev. With this year's presence at the trade fair, Interprint Polska was able to further expand its market position and engage in direct dialogue with potential customers. This mission was a complete success, given the enormously positive feedback. Customers from the wood-based materials and furniture industries were joined by designers, architects and wholesalers, all clearly showing their enthusiasm for Interprint's new products.

Interprint Polska brought the motto “Living in Contrasts” to life with an impressive trade-fair stand. In the centre of the exhibit, current wood décors stood in contrast to the new single colours. Acting as a backdrop, a motif wall in a black design provided a striking and creative contrast with the Interprint décors, allowing them to show themselves off in their best light. The Polish team installed a presentation wall in the centre of the trade-fair stand, exhibiting the décors as implemented by some of Interprint's direct customers.

  • This form of presentation illustrated in impressive fashion the ways that Interprint décors can be put into practice.

Décors such as “Swiss Elm, Rovana Oak, Brandons and FreePort” were among the clear favourites.

The Favourites.
Discussions with customers quickly offered an overview of preferences within the market. Most customers wanted to see authentic wood structures. In terms of colours, the mid to dark oak and elm tones enjoyed particular popularity. The Visual Perfect, Pearl Perfect colours and the “Colours of the Web” were received as warmly as they were on the German market. “Pool” and “Nocturno”, in conjunction with wood décors, were highly acclaimed. Décors such as “Swiss Elm, Rovana Oak, Brandons and FreePort” were among the clear favourites.

The Feedback.
The expert audience visiting Interprint Polska's trade-fair stand were extremely interested and very enthusiastic. Intensive discussions were held in a superb atmosphere. Mariusz Zduńczyk, Sales Manager Export of Interprint Polska, said: “We met exactly the right people at the trade fair: top dogs and excellent minds from Eastern Europe's wood-based materials and furniture industries. We were able to convince them of the strengths of our innovative products and offer them lots of ideas by way of inspiration. It was a great experience for us if genuine projects emerge from the many good ideas we discussed. We were, of course, delighted with our visitors’ enthusiasm.”
