Apprentices in Focus

August stands for Apprenticeship

The month of August stands for apprenticeship at the decor printer Interprint. This year, five new apprentices started their training as industrial clerks and media technologists on 1 August. There are a lot of exciting things in store for the new apprentices, not only in the coming weeks.  In a first step they are introduced to their future job by their trainers and colleagues. Then they will pass through many different departments and areas of application relevant to their training during their apprenticeship in the company.

The search for new team players for 2023 has started. Interested? You can find an overview of all apprenticeships on the webside. By the way, the Interprint apprentices also have their own Instagram page (@interprintausbildung), where they give insights into their daily work.

Apprentice Sailing

Another highlight took place on 10 August for some apprentices and trainers. In bright sunshine, they went off to the Möhne. Supported by the Heinz Nixdorf Foundation, there was a small sailing crash course. After some information and sailing theory, they went out onto the lake. In four groups, each with an experienced sailor, the team members has the chance to prove that they support each other, and that they are reliable. To keep moving forward in water is not easy without a good team.  To wrap-up the event, we had delicious food from the barbeque and cold drinks on the terrace of the Westphalian Yacht Club Delecke: A special team-building event with a high fun factor.

Night on the Westring

On Friday 19 August, the topic of the apprenticeship will once again be the focus of the decor printer. Together with the neighbouring companies META and Pfleiderer, the "Night on the Westring" will take place from 16:00 to 20:00hrs. In a relaxed atmosphere, the Night on the Westring offers a unique opportunity to look behind the scenes all three companies. In addition to the company tours, visitors can experience the different apprenticeships on site, enter into personal exchange with trainers and apprentices and share personal experiences and impressions. The entire training team is looking forward to many visitors. Further information at www.nacht-am-westring.de.
