Design as Seen by Generations

Interprint at 'arena design' in Poland for the third time

Poland at the beginning of March 2018: The 'arena design' event at the International Poznan Exhibition Centre attracted design fans from all over Eastern Europe for four days. The creativity trade fair took place for the tenth time. The event, which was co-located with the 'Furniture Poland' trade fair, was primarily visited by architects, designers, young talents and companies from the furniture and derived timber product industries. This year's 'Generations' motto encouraged a better understanding of the needs and relationships of different generations – also in view of future market opportunities.

Interprint showed the 'Six Pack 2018'

An eye-catcher of Interprint's presentation at 'arena design' was the 'Six Pack 2018'. The company sees a particular potential for international markets in the six selected decors for the latest home furnishing trends. The current decor collection visually covers a wide range of materials: wood, concrete, stone and steel. 'Garbo', for example, with its timeless and elegant walnut interpretation was very popular among the visitors.

Inspiration was also offered by four trend topics that were defined by Interprint for 2018 and were incorporated in the development of the 'Six Pack'. Innovative surface textures, the presentation of co-operation partners and mini-labs for experimenting supplemented Interprint's presentation. Trade visitors from Poland, Ukraine, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania and Lithuania appreciated the open, creative atmosphere on the stand.

Design and the generations

With its 'Generations' motto, the event addressed one of the key topics of our times. Various speakers examined it from different angles. Maurizio Burrato of the Interprint Design Team focused on the design language of various generations during his presentation at the Exhibition Forum. Language can either separate or connect. Today, design connects people of different ages, according to one of the statements by Burrato.

A focused concept

Sylwia Lasota, Sales and Marketing Manager at Interprint Polska, drew a positive conclusion after four intensive exhibition days: "This year, we have completely focused on the 'Six Pack 2018' and the associated trends and stories. Our visitors were able to take home new ideas for interior design – and convince themselves of the potential of the Interprint decors for the Eastern European market."
