Laser Engraved Designs Highlight Interprint’s IWF ’08 Display

Interprint, Inc. (USA) is already enjoying the fruits of a very successful presentation at the recently concluded International Woodworking Fair (IWF) in Atlanta, Georgia.

For the first time in its history, every Interprint décor on display was printed using laser engraved cylinders. “With our own laser engraving equipment coming online in a matter of months, IWF provided the perfect opportunity to show off its incredible potential to our customers,” remarked Interprint, Inc. Managing Director, Bill Hines, Jr. “The buzz we created in Atlanta has already made its way throughout the industry.”

In February 2008, Interprint, Inc. announced plans for the first expansion of its 2 year-old manufacturing facility to accommodate the purchase of state-of-the-art laser engraving equipment. Soon, the company will be the first in North American décor printing market with the capability to laser engrave printing cylinders in-house. In 2006, Interprint installed identical equipment at its international headquarters in Germany, and has enjoyed considerable success.

Along with presenting the décors of tomorrow, the theme of Interprint’s display, “A Cool Blue Future”, was rounded out by the cool sounds of blues guitarist Bill Sheffield; the return of the “Cool Blue Lounge” provided the perfect opportunity for show-weary customers to relax and unwind.

Interprint Design Director, Judy Wolgast summed up the thoughts of the entire Interprint team: “We were just thrilled that the designs we presented were so well-received. We couldn’t be more excited about our new laser engraving capabilities and IWF ’08 proved that our customers share in this excitement.”
