A Furniture Forum with focus on the North Chinese Furniture Market was successfully organized by Interprint China in Beijing on 7th December. About 120 guests from 60 companies attended the forum.

Salvatore Figliuzzi, Repro / Decor Development Manager of Interprint Germany, explained the design concept of the Interprint group. Customers were impressed by Mr. Figliuzzi’s presentation: “This presentation helps us to understand the ideas and inspirations within designs.” The customers said: “We would like to thank Interprint to share with us worldwide trend information, especially from Europe, which will also be of great interest to our end users.”

Udo Kottenkamp, Production Director of Interprint China had a presentation with regard to characteristics of decorative paper and printing techniques. “I want to let people know that melamine decorative paper is an ideal surface material for furniture.” Mr. Kottenkamp says: “I think, by explaining how we work and how we keep improving ourselves, we convinced our customers of our specialties in decorative paper printing.“

At the end of the Forum, Dr. Xiaodong Sun, Managing Director of Interprint China, expressed his thanks to the customers’ constant support. “Although not as big as the South Chinese market, the furniture market in North China is under rapid growth and plays a more and more important role.” says Dr. Sun, “As one of the leading decor printers in China, we would like to share our knowledge and experience with our customers. By hosting the Forum, we hope to create a better understanding and therefore build up costumers’ trust in Interprint – trust in our technique, design and services.”
