Trendsetters in Premium Quality
“Discover a new dimension of design”, Interprint’s slogan for the Interzum 2007 trade fair, is a symbol of the company’s current décor collection.

“Precious in design, brilliant in reproduction” are characteristics of the current décor collection to be presented by Interprint at the Interzum 2007 trade fair in Cologne. Walnut with distinct split elements, oak with scraped and varnish effects, creative Art Deco décors and interesting stone surfaces are just a few of many highlights. What the new décors all have in common is laser technology: strong contrasts, a varied colour range and three-dimensional depth effect just some of the impressive benefits of this new dimension in décor printing.

The Mega-Trend: Walnut

Dark walnut is the trendy wood of spring and Interprint is ready with the very expressive Noce Leandro. An interplay of narrow, light-coloured split elements and dark heartwood creates surprising contrasts. The walnut décor captivates with a clear pore picture in its flowery and striped elements. Noce Leandro offers a variety of visually appealing traits suitable for high-quality, modern furniture design. In combination with surfaces varnished either in white, cream and honey, or as in the current combination with high-gloss black, Noce Leandro is as versatile as it is attractive.

Oak – Scraped and Whitewashed

The preferred finishing processes for oak décors are three-dimensional effects and whitewash varnish. Lingfield Oak combines both: A hand-scraped effect gives the appearance of recesses and elevations on the surface of striped oak. The optimum finish is achieved by applying a white varnish, lending consistency to the structure and an overall airy, elegant flair to the décor.

Art Deco: Playful Elegance

When it comes to retro design, Art Deco is a style from which almost every area of interior design draws inspiration, whether it’s textile, wallpaper, ceramic or furniture manufacturing. Art Deco’s distinctive combination of elegant shapes, precious materials and intense colours is reflected in Interprint’s Sakura décor: Sweeping, delicate, single colour lines convey both playful elegance and graphical clarity. The range of expressive colours includes night-blue, orange-red, cream, vanilla and apple-green – colours that also compliment each other when combined. Sakura works as well in furniture design as it does in building and retail applications. This fresh, creative décor also creates precious compositions when combined with metal, wood or stone.

Mediterranean Flair of Stone

Jurassic lime is one of the most popular natural stones in Europe. At its quarrying, it often yields fascinating shell and plant fossils, revealing a multi-layered picture. This interesting character of the stone comes to life in Interprint’s Jura décor. The Italian Jurassic lime used for Jura has a Mediterranean look: The natural design has pink and beige tints on an eggshell-coloured background, and is enriched by grey dabs and red to brownish shell inclusions. The Jura décor, with its brilliant iridescent colour nuances and distinct depth effect, gives desktops, buildings and flooring an exclusive touch.

In addition, Interprint will also feature the laser-engraved Soft Wear décor, recipient of the 2007 Interzum award for Intelligent Material & Design. These and other examples of Interprint’s excellence in décor design and production can be seen on stand C-030 in hall 6.
