Interprint Expands Its Production Capacity in China
The Interprint Group has put an additional printing machine into operation at its production facility in Changzhou (China).
Manufactured by Kochsiek, it can print four-colours at a maximum printing width of 2.20 metres. This investment increases the manufacturing capacity of the Interprint location in Changzhou to 10,000 tons per year. With this new Kochsiek machine and the Chinese machine put into operation just last year, the Changzhou plant now operates two German and three Chinese production machines.
The new machine was launched by Thomas Wrede, managing partner of Wrede Industrieholding (parent company of Interprint). As Holger Dzeia, Marketing and Sales Director put it, “With the expansion of our production capacity here, we underline our commitment to continual investment in China’s growth market by strengthening our Changzhou location. Our objective is to increase delivery speed while extending service for our customers.”
