A Harmony of Contrasts
New Décors from Interprint: Much Colour Play for the New Season.
Wood décors with contrasting colour play ensure effective furniture design this season. Interprint’s new collection shows different variations of this trend. Whether smoky-soft or lively and crisp, colour contrasts bring shapes to the forefront – particularly with the popular striped décors.
Dark wood with distinctive sapwood content follows this trend. Printed with laser-engraved cylinders, the Walnut Leandro décor shows brilliant colour contrasts never before possible. The combination of light sapwood and dark heartwood sections provides visual brilliance, as do the clear details within the figured and straight grain elements.
Fruit wood and smoked effect: Smoked Pear unites two current trends into a harmonious layout that already has the potential to become a classic. The smoked effect gives this pear-wood décor a flair that reveals natural contrasts between heartwood and softwood. The differentiated colour nuances are a visual delight: The transitions from medium-brown to light brown and mud shades are smooth in some areas and grippingly sharp in others.
If you are looking for natural colour richness, exotic wood is the right choice: An attractive example is Interprint’s Teresina Rosewood. This interpretation of the South American Rio rosewood brings a new radiance to the modern surface with its clear-cut stripes in beige-yellow, red and dark brown colours.
These and other current décors will be exhibited by Interprint in Arnsberg (Germany) from 26 February to 2 March. During ‘Interprint Open House 2007’, visitors can experience new décors, current furnishing themes and in-house laser engraving in the new Design Centre.
