Interprint USA Appoints Managing Directors

Pittsfield (MA) USA --- Interprint, Inc., the North American subsidiary of German-based Interprint GmbH & Co. KG, announced on January 2, 2006 the promotion and appointment of two executives to the positions of Managing Directors.

Jens M. E. Bauer, formerly Chief Financial Officer, becomes Managing Director responsible for finance, purchasing, information technology, operations and technical support functions.  The vice presidents or managers of these departments will report to Bauer.  

William M. Hines, Jr., formerly Sales & Marketing Vice President, becomes Managing Director responsible for sales, customer service, marketing, design, digital reproduction, quality, laboratories and product development.  The vice presidents or managers of these departments will report to Hines, Jr.

In making the announcement, William Hines, Sr., President and Chief Executive Officer, said: “The continuing growth of the company almost dictates the distribution of management and leadership responsibilities. Bauer and Hines, Jr. have been instrumental in helping me guide our people and activities in making Interprint, Inc. the successful market leader it has become. These promotions are a natural next step in preparing for the future of our business.” The Managing Directors, as well as, Sandra L. Zink, director of Human Resources & Community Relations continue to report directly to Hines, Sr., President / CEO.

Jens Bauer has held positions in Germany as Strategic Department Manager at Wrede Industrieholding GmbH & Co. KG, the shareholder of the Interprint Group, also he served as Vice President for Marketing at Interprint Germany prior to coming to Interprint USA in October of 2002.  Bauer holds a Master of Economics degree from the University of Bochum in Germany.

Bill Hines, Jr. has been Manager and then Vice President for Sales and Marketing at Interprint USA since he joined the company in 1997.  Prior to Interprint, he worked for PWA Dekor (now Munksjö Paper) as inside sales in Fitchburg (MA), USA and then as an Area Sales Manager responsible for English speaking markets in Unterkochen, Germany.  Hines holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology from Bridgewater College in Massachusetts.
