Great Views – New Perspectives

Décor paper is an inspiring material for Interprint – a belief shared by many visitors to the company’s exhibition stand at the ZOW 2010. Great new décors and an innovative presentation delighted the visitors.

The advance notice with the leitmotif of the packaged banana as a metaphor for art and creativity attracted numerous visitors to Interprint’s exhibition stand. And their curiosity was rewarded: the exhibition concept included exciting collages that showed décors from different perspectives. The effect was achieved by using curved walls with single-colour metallic surfaces that produced spatial effects. Projecting from these walls were interleaved and partly overlapping décor panels. The visitors saw the décors with light and shadows and thus experienced the surfaces with a realistic effect. Comments of the guests: “A great mix of open architecture and spatial effects” and “A creative, inviting stand with a pleasant atmosphere.”

The current Interprint collection presented at the ZOW also includes designs in which rarely used materials were reinterpreted. Four new décors and the “Mother-of-Pearl/Metallic Effects” theme produced the greatest response:

With the “Roxy” décor, Interprint has given elm a new important role in décor design. In this décor, the elm look shows itself lively, expressive and vividly coloured. The strong vitality is particularly due to an irregular stripe structure. The “Roxy Elegant” décor is quieter with a larger area percentage. Many visitors were also interested in cherry décors, the trend potential of which Interprint discovered a long time ago. The fresh, light designs are the most popular. The “Summerville Cherry” décor was especially appealing to the visitors – a décor that is equally at home in the classic or modern ambiance. The “Summerville Cherry” décor emphasises the natural grain of cherry with knots and annual rings as authentic details.

The “African Walnut” décor proved to be a further visitor magnet at the ZOW. The exotic wood with a walnut character exudes plenty of liveliness with its play of colours. Also successful here were the light to greyish shade variants. The single-colour metallic surfaces on the curved walls of the Interprint stand gave a nice contrast to the décor collages. The light, medium and dark shades of beige and brown simultaneously showed great combination possibilities in furniture design. The visitors’ favourite was the dark chocolate brown shade (“Golden Brown”) with its high-quality, noble charm.

“We were very pleased with the positive response of the visitors to our exhibition stand and our new décors”, said Ulrike Lukas, Marketing Manager at Interprint. “The creative presentation of the décors from different perspectives was found to be very inspiring by our customers and guests. And the technical themes like, for example, digital printing also produced much interest. This successful exhibition concept is confirmation for us that we must continue to move forward as a creative innovator and technology leader in our sector.”
