Design Competence Creatively Presented

Clear, lively, inspiring: Interprint impressed visitors at the ZOW 2008 with an exceptional stand concept and exciting new décors.

Go closer! Discover a new dimension of design! That was Interprint’s exhibition motto at ZOW 2008 - and many visitors willingly complied. New dimensions of design were offered by both Interprint’s décors and their creative presentation. “Inviting, atmospheric, open”, was how the majority of the international visitors judged the stand’s architecture. A very pleased Interprint Sales & Marketing Director, Holger Dzeia, summarized: “Our participation in ZOW was a great success. We are very satisfied with the response produced by our presentation concept and our new décors. Interprint concentrated on its design competence – and it that was exactly that which attracted many visitors.”

A design concept clearly consistent in detail was how the Interprint stand design showed itself, mainly in the colours black, grey, white and red. The wording of the exhibition motto extended across an entire wall side. Facing this was an 18-metre long row of black tables divided by high décor presentation drawers printed with photos. The photo motifs: strongly coloured close-ups of abstract and concrete structures from daily life that inspire Interprint’s new décors. The focal point the exhibition, Interprint’s new décors, could be pulled out of these presentation drawers.

In the wood segment, the visitors were particularly delighted by the elegant classic décors. With ‘Samira Maple’, Interprint presented an unobtrusive maple décor with a play of shapes comprising cut flowers and natural wood elements. The colour spectrum ranges from light maple shades to off-white nuances with delicate but multi-faceted hues. The new Interprint décor, ‘Galiano Oak’, exploits this understatement by combining the classical properties of oak with the technical production of a 3D effect. The overall arrangement of stripy and flowery elements looks excellent on furniture surfaces. The colour range includes light oak and warm medium brown tones. Noble dark grey to almost black colours ensure a modern flair – and strong contrasts in combination with white.

Distinct, aesthetically appealing grain is also trendy for stone décors. A strong representative of this trend is ‘Iron Red’. This extravagant décor convinces through its strong colouring and striking shapes, especially in combination with single colour surfaces. The basis is a strongly-veined Italian granite with enclosed metallic elements. This combination ensures exciting contrasts, which are further strengthened by powerful colours. The combination of rust red, grey and black veins communicates warmth and energy. The décor’s creative range is demonstrated in a grey-green coloration.

In the creative décor segment, unobtrusive, playful shapes catch the eye without being conspicuous. The structures of the ‘Cimbalo’ creative décor recall the leaves of a Calla lily. The skilled arrangement of the individual colours gives this floral design a 3D character. ‘Cimbalo’ offers a broad colour range. The décor is clearly in trend in white, light grey and anthracite – colours that convey a touch of luxury. Depending on furniture type, modern aubergine or fresh yellow and orange shades are also good choices. The pure sensuousness of the curved leaf shapes is emphasised by a slight gloss.

Visitors to the Interprint exhibition stand who complied with the request to “go closer” were not disappointed. The new collection showed at ZOW what distinguishes good décors: creativity, design competence and the skilful use of innovative technologies.
