Fascinating Play with Contrasts
New flooring décors with white effects from Interprint in the run-up to Domotex 2008
Limed, glazed or whitewashed: Décors with white effects set highlights on modern flooring. In the run-up to the Domotex 2008 trade fair, Interprint has presented flooring trendsetters that have been enhanced with special techniques.
For example, the decor ‘White Washed Wood’ with the effect of a white-glazed surface conveys a visual impression of high quality. The enhancement technique causes the stripy brushed structure of the coniferous wood to look harmonious and elegant. The 2-strip parquet convinces by presenting a clear overall image and high colour quality.
Italian oak for design fans: The décor ‘Rovere del Piave’ with a layout of black-brown solid wood boards is dark and powerful. White patination of some surface areas produces a bluish-white shimmer and gives the oak colour a uniquely interesting look. And natural traces of wear in the structure produce a ‘used effect’. Whether flowers, knots, annual rings or drying cracks: All visual wood elements are highlighted as a result of the colour and shape enhancements. ‘Rovere del Piave’ is an extraordinary flooring decor with flair and high-contrast elegance.
An eye-catcher on large floors is Interprint’s new ‘Kahlua Oak’ décor. The white pore effect emphasises the natural grain and contrasts of the wood. Another plus is that the liming produces a slight grey shade on the oak colour, echoing the coming trend in interior furnishing. The modern all-over flooring décor gives the entire surface a fresh look and depth.
Flooring with white effects scores with naturalness and bright elegance. It is therefore a perfect addition not only to the classic or natural home style –limed, whitewashed or glazed surfaces also give effective accents to modern reductive interior furnishing. To increase the quality of colours and contrasts in flooring décors, Interprint developed a new technology that significantly increases the intensity of the opaque white colour. Brilliance, clear colours and rich contrasts are the results.
